This training will enable participants to recognize and respond in an appropriate timely manner to life-threatening situations such as cardiac arrest

Performing immediate cardio-pulmonary resuscitation increases the victim’s survival rate. Hence high-quality compression, proper ventilation, and early defibrillation are very critical

BLS training will enhance the competence of health care professionals and will re-equip them in responding to this kind of situation.

Marlene Alam is the Business Development Director of Sublime Home Healthcare Centre.

Before being delegated the position of Business Development for Sublime in October 2021, Marlene was the Operations and Business Development Director at Group Al Lubhani Medical Centers and HIVision Smart Service in Dubai. She is responsible for the planning and implementing of a strategic framework for the continued development of LMC staff and its practice to meet the anticipated requirements and ensure the provision of the best quality patient care within the available resources. She leads the team of sales & and marketing in developing and implementing as a medical consultant for new strategies for the current and the future of the company.

She also served as a Nursing Director at Al Tadawi Medical Centre from July 2018 until May 2019 and as Chief Staff Training and Development in Lebanon at the Middle East Institute of Health from October 2019 until September 2020.

Marlene also spent over 11 years working with companies related to the Aviation industry and held her position as follows: Group Head – Nursing, Training, and Customer Service at GMCClinics from November 2015 until 2017 as nurse staffing in charge and First Aid / BLS Instructor for American Heart Association and GCAA (for inflight First Aid Emergencies); Aviation Medicine Liaison Manager in University Hospital of Sharjah in 2015 and as First Aid Instructor at Air Arabia 2010-2015 and as Head nurse at Sharjah Aviation Medical Centre from 2007-2010.

Marlene earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Swiss University School (New Zealand) and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the Institute of Nursing in Sharjah. She also holds an active MOH and DHA license. She is also a licensed instructor with Diploma in training and holds an instructor license for American Heart Association (AHA), American Safety and International Institute (ASHI), General Civil Authority Instructor for Medical Emergency (GCAA), and Diploma in Train the Trainer Level 2 from City Guild (US)
